Question About Power Options in Ubuntu 21.04 and new versions.
Anyway, now I don't have that power options although I can use [slimbook-battery](https://github.com/slimbook/slimbookbattery). I guess the app works but still if I can do the procedure without a third party app it would be better.

Having a really hard time switching to Linux...
I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this already, but try using Slimbook Battery, which is a GUI software to manage battery life. For me personally, this increased battery life from three hours to almost six hours on my Lenovo Yoga 6.

Installed https://github.com/slimbook/slimbookbattery on wife's laptop for longer battery and it worked fine.

Not quite enough. There's a snap removal script that does the job properly. But then, you've already started accepting that Canonical pushes things you don't like. At what point do you think its worth trying another distro?
