Fine times with the PineTime - Review and Getting Started guide for the PineTime
Also haven't tried it with the PinePhone yet, that might make an interesting follow-up article. There is a companion app here

Infinitime with wrong time zone
Are you using the AUR package for siglo? The AUR package hasn't been updated since April, so try either editing the PKGBUILD yourself to pull the new version, or you can follow the instructions on the actual github repo for siglo.

Just got my PineTime
On Linux, you can use Amazfish and Siglo to connect to the PineTime, synchronize the time, notifications, firmware update,... I think both are available in Arch and Manjaro ARM using pacman.

Trouble installing Siglo on Pinephone
git clone https://github.com/alexr4535/siglo.git cd siglo

Why can't PineTime time be set directly from watch?
You need a companion app to utilize the watch properly. I assume you use Infinitime on your PineTime, try using Gadgetbridge on Android or Siglo on your Pinephone(build the Flatpak from source on the phone). As to why there is no ui on the watch to set the time and date I can only guess, but they might try to save some memory since a smartwatch is only really useful in combination with a host device anyway.

What distro y'all using? Why?
Some yeah mostly stuff to toggle wofi and squeekboard from waybar. The only complicated one was for rotation which I got from https://github.com/Dejvino/pinephone-sway-poc

My new Pinephone is extremely laggy, is ther a way I can fix this?
If those are still too slow there are plenty of projects working on even lighter window managers like Sway or Sxmo.

Anyone know how to setup virtual keyboard to auto appear in swaywm?
Not really, you just install them via the package manager. There is https://github.com/Dejvino/pinephone-sway-poc which has an install script for setting up swaywm with some extra bits (like screen rotation, touch gestures etc) which I looked at and picked out some bits. Parts of it like the lisgd syntax seem out of date and didn't work without updating though.
