Pop shop makes the whole system freeze!
To view logs, in terminal run journalctl or journalctl -r for reverse order (newest first). Then search by pressing / and look for io.elementary.appcenter. And yes, Pop Shop is based on Elementary OS’s app center.

[Feature Request] - Pop Shop still does not show where an installation is coming from (normal apt/apt-get, Flatpak, Snap, etc.)

Is there plan for a new Pop!_Shop along COSMIC DE?
Memory-hogging; even when idle in the background, it can take ~500MB of memory alone. This is not very friendly to older hardware. See issue

Recently migrate from Manjaro for the excellent support of pop os on Nvidia Optimus laptops, but having a hard time to understand how to install apps that don’t appear in pop shop. kind of rookie question or just used to have everything in Manjaro Gui packages manager

System76 vs Star Labs vs Framework
If in the USA then System76 could be a good contender, they don't make the hardware just use Clevo hardware, however I've had so many issues with the Lemur Pro and support has been terrible, after significant shipping costs to fix a common freezing issue they sent it back with a broken trackpad, missing screws and the same issue persisting (https://github.com/pop-os/linux/issues/45 & https://github.com/pop-os/pop/issues/1172) tbh they (System76) really don't like any critizism and popOS has been really flaky between updates, they also tend to be bad actors in the community with little upstreaming and a sense of superiority (https://www.theregister.com/2021/11/10/system76_gnome_desktop_fight/) - My machine (lemp9) is basically just sat in a cupboard gathering dust.

I don't use Pop but the repos show 6.2.6
