Pop shop makes the whole system freeze!
To view logs, in terminal run journalctl or journalctl -r for reverse order (newest first). Then search by pressing / and look for io.elementary.appcenter. And yes, Pop Shop is based on Elementary OS’s app center.

[Feature Request] - Pop Shop still does not show where an installation is coming from (normal apt/apt-get, Flatpak, Snap, etc.)
It already is open source, and always has been: https://github.com/pop-os/shop

Is there plan for a new Pop!_Shop along COSMIC DE?
Memory-hogging; even when idle in the background, it can take ~500MB of memory alone. This is not very friendly to older hardware. See issue

Recently migrate from Manjaro for the excellent support of pop os on Nvidia Optimus laptops, but having a hard time to understand how to install apps that don’t appear in pop shop. kind of rookie question or just used to have everything in Manjaro Gui packages manager

I just realized that even pop devs also love to refer the Pop!_Shop's look as the Elementary appstore :| (found this in my sys monitor)

Pop Shop keeps getting more reliable
Sure, there was the time recently when the flathub backend was down, and Pop Shop crashed. But other than that,

PopStore Freezing constantly.
The Pop!Shop isn't based of GNOME Software, but rather Elementary's Appcenter. I'm pretty sure it's a completely separate project. If I remember correctly, System76 worked with Elementary on this app.

Fedora should make their own software center to replace discover and gnome software center
Pop!_OS's "pop shop" is actually not their own creation. They borrowed/adapted it from another Ubuntu based distro ElementaryOS (these two projects seem to have a good working relationship and have borrowed from one another to the benefit of both). But credit where credit is due, the "Pop shop" is an attractive and well branded implementation/fork of the Elementary App Center. The pop team does make this clear on their github but most users seem unaware.

hello I am a new user and I put elementary OS on my laptop and I can't get it Wi-Fi to work any ideas.
Try connecting with ethernet or thether your phone with USB. See here for a solution. Proposed drivers will not install correctly without proper kernel headers though I think it was fixed in a recent update. https://github.com/elementary/appcenter/issues/1603
