    • Pop!_OS's "pop shop" is actually not their own creation. They borrowed/adapted it from another Ubuntu based distro ElementaryOS (these two projects seem to have a good working relationship and have borrowed from one another to the benefit of both). But credit where credit is due, the "Pop shop" is an attractive and well branded implementation/fork of the Elementary App Center. The pop team does make this clear on their github but most users seem unaware.
