sd_civitai_extension VS sd-model-preview-xd

Download the needed models and embeddings and loras. Here I wonder if there is a faster way. I just used the civitai plugin and manually downloaded them. Often the model name in the png and the name in civitai was not the same, so I sometimes used google to find the right model.. Again if somebody has a hint how to do this easier I am all ears :D.

I've been using the Civitai Extension for Automatic1111 (https://github.com/civitai/sd_civitai_extension) to manage my checkpoints and LORAs on google colab for several months now without trouble. However, when I opened Automatic1111 the other day, the "civitai" tab had disappeared. The extension is still downloaded, but I can no longer download models/LORAs through the WebUI itself.

You have to use civitai extension for automatic1111 so that recognizable hashes are added to image metadata. But apart from that there seems to be a problem with extension recognizing some filenames. I'm not familiar with it, but if it uses the automatic webui, then you can try installing the civitai extension and import through that

Wouldn't be a bad thing to do. 😁 If you want to completely organize it, like me, you put every different model into it's own folder, together with preview images and description to use with this -> https://github.com/CurtisDS/sd-model-preview-xd

I suggest using sd-model-review-xd to make a nice description, your personal tips to remember, and previews of each model for easy reference.

This is better than nothing, but not much. Model Preview XD is vastly superior. It allows for multiple sample images, a text or HTML description, and filtering models by tags. Your method is fine if you only have a handful of models, but if you have hundreds, you need something a lot more comprehensive.
