The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Here's a few animations on a 24x24 matrix with an accompanying github repo in description
Two ways 1. Decode gifs in mcu(requires good mcu) https://github.com/pixelmatix/AnimatedGIFs 2. Encode gif to good for mcu format https://github.com/sutaburosu/scintillating_heatshrink

Image array into ESP32
It's right there in the root folder of that repo. It's no use by itself though; it converts to a custom format that only the included sketch can play back.

Is it possible to switch to another pre-built palette using pointers?
Perhaps this would suffice?

Update: I improved visual quality even further. Code is now fully die hard 32 bit only. It opens the door to ridiculous creative coding - now we can do basically anything to the values without concern to cause flicker. Faulty results get filtered out while all valid results maintain 32 bit accuracy.
Here, take whatever you want from my repo. Twist it around however you want and make it yours. The majority of animations have videos. https://github.com/doctorpartlow/workingfastledanimations

Inquiring about led animations
Here's a git repo with some single file animations that are ready to dump in your ide and upload to your board. Theres videos of what they look like. I find the best way to learn for me is to mess around and change things to see what they are doing https://github.com/doctorpartlow/workingfastledanimations

Diffusing different effects.
https://github.com/doctorpartlow/workingfastledanimations here's the code. gave credit to the original creators. but some of them were modified a bit to work.
