[NEWBIE] Problem with the very first project (Coursier installer, Win 10, Java 8)
Thanks for the reply and the info. I looked at template repo that sbt is supposedly grabbing when you do sbt new scala/scala3.g8 and project/build.properties lists sbt version 1.7.1 so it seems that there is some crossed wire here.

Does sbt has a 'sbt init' similar?
I still use this dirty script that I wrote years ago. I just update the versions from time to time. However I also don’t get why sbt is not able to create a simple barebone project. (g8 templates are overkill for me) https://github.com/fehmicansaglam/scripts/blob/master/sbt-init
