My growing 40% collection
Here are the last 14 weeks of frustration, 3d printing, and soldering. I ended up with 8 new boards: 2 draculads (one wireless), a TBK mini, Skeletyl (wireless), Reviung34 (wireless), Owl (wireless), and 2 of my own designs that I call Unisplay made from acrylic and birch plywood (handwired with Amoebas). I still have some spare pcbs and plates for building an Owl if anyone wants them.

Let's Design a Keyboard with Ergogen v4: Introduction – FlatFootFox
I developed something similar (PCB only, no cases) as KiCad plugin: https://github.com/adamws/kicad-kbplacer - it uses layouts from keyboard-layout-editor.com as input.

Been working on this one for a while
Once you get the hang of that, you can try using a tool to automate the key positioning stuff. There's a tool that repositions your keys given a KLE json (https://github.com/adamws/kicad-kbplacer and I used to use one called "Keyboard Layouter"), and there's a tool to actually generate the skeleton project for you as well (https://github.com/jeroen94704/klepcbgen). Just make sure you have a hang of KiCAD, footprints, symbols, etc before you dive too deep.
