The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

I made a simple crate which is like a vector but entirely on the stack
any significant difference from https://github.com/bluss/arrayvec ?

Which collections use heap vs stack?
The only fixed sized collections built-in to Rust are arrays (and tuples if you count those as a collection). You can get more from crates though (for example https://github.com/bluss/arrayvec) .

[Feedback] Genetic Algorithm to Solve Sudoku Puzzles
Great choice of Rayon for parallel. This is exactly the kind of thing it works well for. You can trade your Mutex for a Vec, which I think is likely a performance win and definitely cleans up the code. See this branch, which I've PR-ed. Ideally ArrayVec would implement FromParallelIterator, in which case best of both worlds: see this issue.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing arrayvec and arrayvec you can also consider the following projects:
rustfmt - Format Rust code
rust - Empowering everyone to build reliable and efficient software.
blog.rust-lang.org - Home of the Rust and Inside Rust blogs
genetic-sudoku - A Rust program designed to solve Sudoku puzzles using a multithreaded genetic algorithm.
