I suppose what you're trying to do is pass information from the graphql resolver to the request hander. There is an example of *the opposite* here for tide: https://github.com/async-graphql/examples/blob/master/tide/token-from-header/src/main.rs but I'm sure that you will be able to do the same for rocket.
