Hello thanks everyone for help I recently instilled Ubuntu Linux (version 22.04.03 LTS) and my Archer T2U Nano Drivers were not recognized since I am new, I looked for tutorials and they all assumed you have a working internet connection so can just download the git hub online. Since I don't have access to a Ethernet or anything else (tried Samsung tethering did not work) I am out of option tried installing the GitHub bit am major noob had no idea what to do. I think this is the right GitHub - aircrack-ng/rtl8812au: RTL8812AU/21AU and RTL8814AU driver with monitor mode and frame injection for anyone that can help guide me through an installation without internet thank you very much.

I update linux mint today and it caused my usb wifi adapter to stop working, the computer still registers it’s connected, but I don’t understand how a update would mess up my driver, I’m using rtl8812au

Very unstable ping when using hotspot in Linux.
I'm using Arch Linux (6.1.15-1-lts) with "TP-Link Archer T2U PLUS (RTL8821AU)" and these drivers (I have also tried using these drivers. I'm using an Ethernet connection and I've setup a hotspot in my PC (to use it with my android devices) (I don't have a Wi-Fi router at the moment, sorry). I'm getting serious ping losses in my android phone. Messaging apps are taking forever to send/receive messages (but not when using hotspot from Windows 10).

https://github.com/aircrack-ng/rtl8812au asumen that you already see this link only for reference, in theory if it works with any of your rt88xxau it will be work with the newest alpha Wi-Fi adapters such as AWUS036ACH.

Wifi drivers on r6c
I've been trying for a few hours now to install drivers for a rtl8812au based usb wifi adapter (Edimax-7822ULC/UTC) on a nanopi r6c running kernel version 5.10.110. Zero luck with both the manufacturer driver for ubuntu and with an open source one-size-fits-all (https://github.com/morrownr/8812au-20210629). When running the manual install for morrownr's open source driver, I'm getting this error:

Is this a non-standart kali vm? If yes and you are learning, never sudo apt update/upgrade unless specifically told by your instructor. The adapter works for me with the drivers and intructions on github link

just installed fedora 37 as dual boot for my windows computer, but I am experiencing "flickering" on startup. Please, any advice?
Unofficially, the chipset itself seems to be the Realtek RTL8812AU chipset, which does have community support up to the current 6.1 kernel, but latest tested on Fedora is 5.11. (it will probably work, but honestly it's still a gamble). The work seems to mostly spur from the AUR repository, which links here.

Ping and download issue with M1 Mac and RTL8812AU
As seen in the picture, every other ping seems to be about one second long and every other somewhat it should be. Pinging directly my Router via WLAN. There are different drivers available for the RTL8812AU, currently using this one: github.com/morrownr/8812au-20210629. The same issue persists using other drivers available. Power saving settings for the adapter are turned off, no effect.
