Setup rport server somewhere. Install your rport agent on Pfsense(manual install of the freebsd agent). Then you can setup temp tunnels when needed to remotely configure it. Rport does 2FA via email or TOTP. Many OS's have a agent.

From MSP to IT Manager/SysAdmin/NetAdmin
I did locate a brilliant Open Source RMM - tacticalRMM (https://github.com/wh1te909/tacticalrmm, https://wh1te909.github.io/tacticalrmm/) which I have now been using for quite a while and this works great for remote control and monitoring. Plus they have a fairly active Discord Server for support and discussion.

Searching RMM provider that hosted in Germany
I think Tactical RMM (https://github.com/wh1te909/tacticalrmm) can be self-hosted completely. When we are considering expanding our client portfolio, this seems like a good fit for us (German MSP).
