what is your favorite cd tool (z, z.lua, autojump, zoxide ....) ?
If you're going to navigate your file-system with cd, you might as well have fun, so I'll recommend rpgcli which turns your directory-tree into a dungeon, and as you cd around (using its alias/function), you battle monsters, earn loot, and progress towards beating all the achievements. ☺

How do I learn bash?
I'd start with TLDP bash beginner's guide. This website also seems to be worth something. I'd also try out some of the terminal games (since that is your ultimate goal) and go through their source code. For e.g. bashcrawl, Command-line Heroes etc.
