If you want even faster search across different formats, you can try ripgrep-all ( https://github.com/phiresky/ripgrep-all ). It can search across epub, docx, pdf, zip, mp4 etc. If you are handy with the tool, you can write custom adaptor to search across images using OCR with tesseract.

1. If you want better adoption especially among corporations, GPL-3 wont cut it. Maybe think of some business friendly licenses (MIT etc)

2. I understand the excitement about llm's. But how about making something more accessible. I use rip-grep-all (rga) along with fzf [1] that can search all files including pdfs in a specific folders. However, I would like a GUI tool to search across multiple folders, provide priority of results across folders and store and search histories where I can do a meta-search. This is sufficient for 95% of my usecases to search locally and I dont need LLM. If khoj can enable such search as default without LLM that will be a gamechanger for many people without a heavy compute machine or who dont want to use OpenAI.

I use `rga` to search through multiple PDF files for work. The tool returns a list of files and I would like to make those file paths clickable.

Great work, it looks amazing! But what's the point of going through all the pain of rendering graphs in text? At that point, give me an actual graph. The code will be less messy and the information display will be better.

Btop is even more advanced than htop. It is almost like a GUI in terminal, and it feels like a dashboard of an airplane. I like it, but when I want to see what processes are using most of my resources, it is usually htop that comes to my mind and not btop, since btop shows more by default than I usually want. Htop is good, but these days I prefer using Btop.

I love this and will definitely try it out! Although I admit I'm a little puzzled when people simultaneously want to do a TUI but also design things so there is generous (excessive, actually) whitespace around everything to create the illusion of "minimalism" or "comfort".

It's a TUI! It should be buzzing with numbers, packed with information, sparing with space and using every pixel possible. btop[1] is a great example imo — one of the best.

I am using Arco Linux (Arch Based) and today my machine was working as normal, but then I lost Wifi connection. I had btop opened in another monitor and when o lost connection, it crashed. Don't know what it means. This has happened before, but before I would just restart and everything would work fine again, but now, the OS doesn't show me anything Wifi related. When it happens,restarting shows are logs that normaly don't appear (can't show them here because they are now showing up anymore) and it takes a long time to restart, if it even restarts, sometimes I have to press down the power button (it's that bad). My mother is TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS WIFI, the Wifi adapter is the one that comes with the motherboard. I am on the Linux kernel 6.4.2 (I think), I updated the system this morning. On Windows (where I am writing this from), I don't have this problem.
