rgb_keyboard VS rogauracore

A possible alternative is to reverse engineer the windows software and write your own Linux version. That is what i did for the older GMMK keyboards: https://github.com/dokutan/rgb_keyboard, and what other projects like OpenRGB do.

I found this in the end, which seems to work pretty well.

Got rogauracore to work after all by trying a second time, following the instructions here.

Context: I just built my first PC and decided to go with linux/ubuntu operating system. I was trying it out for a couple days and I recently tryed installing some software from github, https://github.com/wroberts/rogauracore but i didn't know how to uninstall it so i ran "sudo apt-get purge rogauracore" in the terminal and restarted my computer but instead of loading the desktop it just "reads /dev/nvme0n1p5: clean, 305889/122068992 files, 12308882/488247296 blocks"

I tried this https://github.com/wroberts/rogauracore but it "Could not find ROG Aura Core keyboard" I assume I'll have issues then with the corsair specific RGB programs too?

I don't know if this helps, but there's this github page.
