Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Duplicity
I really like restic, and am personally happy to use it via the command line. It's very fast and efficient! However, I do wish there was better tooling / wrappers around it. For example, Pika Backup is a popular UI for Borg of which no equivalent exists for Restic. I'd love to be able to set something simple up on my partner's Macbook.
For my own purposes, I've been using a script I found on Github[0] for a while, but it only really supports Backblaze B2 AFAIK.[1]
I've been meaning to try autorestic[2] and resticprofile[3] as they are potentially more flexible than the script I'm currently using, and prestic[4] looks intriguing for my partner's use, but seems to have very few users. And the fact that there are so many competing tools makes it difficult to land on one.

Need help finding a dummies' guide to getting access to the occ terminal in my nextcloud instance please
(this is actually the last bit of point 4, really): Looked at README.FIRST ( https://github.com/jamesstout/no-ip/blob/master/README.FIRST ) in the noip2 directory. The instructions re getting it to run automatically on boot were a bit complex, so followed the instructions at https://www.blackmoreops.com/2020/11/18/how-to-install-the-noip2-on-ubuntu-and-run-via-systemd-systemctl-noip-dynamic-update-client/ for the 'systemd way'. In retrospect I wish I'd discovered earlier and followed the guide at https://github.com/clickonrefresh/Automate-Noip-DUC for auto download-install-configure of the noip-DUC. I allowed port 8245 (TCP) through in both directions as the noip2 README.FIRST file had instructed.
