This "Bitcoin Dave" is Legit!
By the way, is there a place where links or info like this - https://github.com/jannotti/recover-algo-word is posted for easy access by the community in case something like this happens again? If I had known of this even two days ago, I would prefer to use it rather than take the huge risk I took. I know nothing is completely without risk though. Could there be a wallet recovery "board" where legitimate links or tools designed in-house can be posted for all to see? Just a thought.

Have I Lost Everything?
As for your seed phrase recovery, did you ever save a copy of the qr code in your wallet? If not, I would go to the github link i posted above-> https://github.com/jannotti/recover-algo-word , download the Python package and run it through the windows prompt. If you can type in all your words, the program will spit out the word which is off.

Seed coming up Invalid after multiple attempts, Advice?
Has this happened to anyone before? What are my options? I am not super technical but have looked at using an open source software such as https://github.com/fixmycrypto/FixMyCrypto to try multiple attempts with the same words in different order. I would only use one of these as a last ditch resort because I am certain my passphrase will be compromised after using it.
