They have to pay Reddit $20 million per year to keep running
I'm with you on content urls being the proper way to key off of content. did that for the rAger extension, which is open source, as well as intercepting requests. I'm okay with abandoning that extension, but it sure would be helpful to have more people involved in maintaining the real-time extension, which is also open source. Give me a shout if you're interested.

Reddit disabled Pushshift. ๐๐๐ซeddit's extension and user pages still work.
If anyone more experienced wants to give it a shot, the source code for the changes I made for Safari are here.

[extension] Known issue: false removal notices on pages that link directly to a comment
My guess is they'll approve it on Monday. If you really want it now you can install from source.

Reveddit sending repetitive notifications
Thanks for your report. I've seen it reported here, though I'm unable to replicate.

I'm on a podcast talking about shadow moderation. Check it out!
The code is open source.
- Is there a service which shares any account's deleted posts and comments via RSS?

add reveddit link to removed comments or posts like libreddit on desktop does
Yeah. I'd do it myself as a standalone app if I knew how. The extension code already exists, it just needs to be modified to work with a javascript-based mobile framework.

Reveddit/Removeddit integration
So, I think there should be an optional feature(or maybe plugin?) allowing the deleted comments/posts to be fetched from Reveddit/Removeddit. It appears thst Reveddit might have an API , so it shouldn't be too hard to implement, although disclaimer - I am not an developer, so I could be very wrong.

Seeing a well awarded comment/post deleted. Makes you wonder what it said!
The code that makes the extension is available here in case anyone wants to add to or review it. It uses Chrome's manifest v3 which is a much more restrictive set of extension rules meant to deal with abusive extensions. Eventually, Chrome will force all extensions to use that, and Firefox may follow suit too. Unfortunately v3 breaks a lot of cool extensions but that's another conversation.

Hello, I have a strange request. Would like to host a private stream to watch soccer games with some mates that are different countries. Would like something that streams 1080p with OBS. Dk how to do it or if it is legal.
You can use OwnCast https://owncast.online/ if you host it on your own domain.

MoneroKon 2023 is next week! Here is what to expect
The main stage of talks are planned to be live streamed on the Monero Community Workgroup YouTube channel and to an Owncast self-hosted server (URL TBA).

With Twitch committing suicide with their TOS updates, how viable is Peertube as a livestreaming alternative?
it is, but OwnCast and OpenStreamingPlatform are probably closer to what Twitch does.

A common question about how to find repositories to contribute to
I always recommend people to contribute to software they use themselves. For me that is self-hosted servers like Mealie (Python+Vue) and Owncast (Go+React). Especially Owncast is a project that imo is comparatively easy to get into because the setup is kept really simple, documentation is good and the maintainers are super nice :) There are some good first issues, but in addition to that there are also often "debug problem X" issues that imo help one get into a project quick because you'll read a lot of code for them.
