I personally try to do 1 app = 1 AppVM but it needs a lot of RAM if you want to use a lot at the same time. My vault is network isolated and I have everything that should not be linked together (identity and other internet stuff) on different VMs (personal, hardened firefox for general browsing..). I'm now on 4.1 and I'm looking to do a Disp Firefox with bookmark implementation and do a lot more Disp setup in the future for any kind of activity.

That is going to be a likely source of pain for you. NVIDIA cards are known for having dicey at best support, in addition to security risks that come from driver installation even when they are supported. https://github.com/Qubes-Community/Contents/blob/master/docs/configuration/install-nvidia-driver.md For further reading, see https://groups.google.com/g/qubes-devel/c/MfHy2jmXhXM and https://groups.google.com/g/qubes-devel/c/MeLYpHyLRHQ

Okay, let's recap what I did - and it worked with this old key I found on that QubesOS doc page. Please check, if you did this step by step also (would find out, why you wasn't able to use this old key).

To keep it short at this point: Here's a step-by-step hand-out to create a multimedia qube. You actually only need the Spotify part of it. Maybe this helps in getting the certificate key first... Then it should be work with an dnf / apt-get install as of the lpf command (without cert) instead.

I find it unlikely that your motherboard does not support iGPU + GPU at the same time. Check this page for more troubleshooting options.

Read https://github.com/Qubes-Community/Contents/blob/master/docs/security/security-guidelines.md if you're looking to learn about the security of Qubes. Install Anti Evil Maid if you want to mitigate issues with dual boot or worry about someone with physical access contaminating your computer. Ideally don't dual-boot, or run any unneeded software in in dom0, etc. But I'm really just reiterating stuff from that page. Best of luck!
