Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

I use a Qt-based frontend for the taskwarrior - https://github.com/jubnzv/qtask with i3wm.

How do you integrate Taskwarrior into your desktop?
Additionally, I have been using mutt for my email, and have a mutt2tw script that I wrote(/am writing). When I have an email that comes in where someone wants me to do something, I hit T to kick off my task macro which pipes the message to my script to inject it into taskwarrior, and then archives the message.
