The iFit Bluetooth is a protocol unique to iFit rather than the standard FTSM protocol, meaning it only works with Pro-form and other iFit Bluetooth enabled equipment. But if you can use your phone or another tablet you can probably use the QZ app (https://www.qzfitness.com/) to bridge the two.

Hi, I need it from an Nordictrack S25 - I would need the diagnostic so that the QZ app (https://github.com/cagnulein/qdomyos-zwift) can support the S25. It would need to be that specific treadmill.

I am hoping that someone in the iFit community can assist me with a device-trace so that I can get device-support for https://github.com/cagnulein/qdomyos-zwift (and with it also use Zwift).

I have just come across an app called QZ-qdomyos-zwift. They have a QZ companion app you can put on the S22i via ADB that reads the logs and sends a stream via UDP of the activity. The app will run on a tablet/phone etc and with the correct settings (currently in Beta), will detect the UDP traffic and then reformats it into a format for other Apps, such as Peloton, ZWIFT, RGT etc and broadcasts as a Wahoo device via Bluetooth. Take a file. Add [awesome] to the name. There. You've tagged a file, and you can search for it with your desktop search / fzf / etc. Switch system, copy it anywhere, it works. You can do this by hand. Or, if you like clicks and drag-n-drop, use TagSpaces. Or, use tss.

The UNIX filesystem has traditionally been a graph for ever. I haven't looked at details for a couple of decades, but definitely all UNIX/POSIX/Linux filesystems operate on a graph model.

A distinction I used to make when I was teaching this stuff: on your filesystem tree, on Unix names (labels) are on the links (arrows), while on DOS/Windows names are on nodes (boxes).

If the naming convention is different, or you'd prefer to go the tagging route, tagspaces may be your best bet. It can use standard tags in the file, or a sidecar file (file with the same name, but different extension next to the original file) to keep tags with the file.

Agreed. Why not use the filesystem as the database that it is? Modern filesystems support tags or extended attributes that could be used to implement tags. Failing that, just encode tags in the filename. Document management tools could then use the filesystem as the source of truth.
