Next step for flask project

Help creating post api
I'm having a terribly hard time trying to figure out how to create a post api to insert a new row into a database. I've tried different tutorials but I keep running into different Type and attribute errors. As of now I was able to fixe a recent TypeError with the code below but I am now running into another Attribute error AttributeError: 'Exercise' object has no attribute 'from_dict' and I'm not sure how to trouble shoot it. I've added the most recent changes to my git: https://github.com/tizarus/exercise_app/blob/master/app.py
