The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Would it be possible to have a workshop REST API ?
So, there is this thing called the Numworks Workshop (I think everyone here know what it is), which is kinda big, and kinda used by a lot of people. As the community keep growing, more and more people are making third party software, and I think it'd be a great mode from Numworks to create an official REST API. I've seen that a library has already been created by the community, but this isn't really good, because it uses HTML scraping to get the data, and it can't be used in a web environment, because of CORS policy (seems legit).
What are some alternatives?
When comparing python-testing and numWorkshop you can also consider the following projects:
nbval - A py.test plugin to validate Jupyter notebooks
Omega - Omega 1.22, the next evolution of Epsilon! Now available for your Numworks calculator!
epsilon-sample-app-rust - A sample Rust app for the NumWorks graphing calculator
khicas - KhiCAS for NumWorks
workshop-realtime-data-pipelines - You will inspect and run a sample architecture making use of Apache Pulsarâ„¢ and Pulsar Functions for real-time, event-streaming-based data ingestion, cleaning and processing.
Kandinsky-Numworks - A small module allowing to link the kandinsky module, from the Numworks, to a window.
