When you can’t be asked to get up and press a button
IKEA IDASEN has LINAK lifting columns (specifically the DL11IC), which can be controlled by bluetooth. Its APIs are open and there’s everything from open source github api projects to a freemac app, free linux app, apart from linak’sown pc, android and iOS apps. This one in the video is a paid iOS app i found called Desk Remote Control, which enables siri shortcuts. There’s also many HomeAssistant integrations.

Ikea Idasen Controller Upgrade
Probably not what you're looking for, but I used this code to control my Idasen via bluetooth from the command line. I then went further and linked it to Google Assistant via Home Assistant so I can now say "Hey Google, activate stand up" and the desk goes to a predetermined height I have set. That being said, it took me hours to get this solution up and running and I'm still getting the odd problem here and there.
