- Is there any 3rd party software for managing the Stream Deck? I'd love if it were developed a bit more actively. Don't get me wrong, the built-in software is fine, but I'm curious if there are alternatives?

Working with an Elgato Streamdeck
This may be considered off-topic, but I don't know of a better place to post this. I recently got a Streamdeck and have been trying out the few different options for controlling it. I've been pretty satisfied with muesli/deckmaster but, just as with the rest, I feel there are some features missing. I saw in the readme of abcminiuser/python-elgato-streamdeck they mention a repo with reverse engineering notes, but that is now a dead link. So I'd like to ask if anyone knows if those notes have been rehosted somewhere else or if there's any other documentation for the Streamdeck.

Creating a driver for a USB HID device?
In general, HID devices can be accessed on Linux via hidraw or hiddev, which is usually then wrapped by a higher library. In this case, it's wrapped by libusb, which is then used by python-elgato-streamdeck, but you could theoretically use any of the above for accessing HID devices. General functionality also shows up via evdev, but that won't have support for any more non-standard functionality, like setting the key images.

What is good and bad about the F-35 cockpit
I have a StreamDeck[1] that I use for various random things. There's an open source driver for it too that you can drive from Python[2], letting you run Python code when a button is pressed. You can do some cool stuff with it (eg I've used mine to make HTTP requests on button press)

I’m using Companion https://bitfocus.io/companion/ on a Raspberry Pi, you can use https://github.com/bitfocus/companion-module-vicreo-hotkey to execute commands on pc or of Mac
What are some alternatives?
