Mysa app crashing when trying to open the schedule for a thermostat
I added split.io to my Pi-Holes while list but it still crashes.

Any simple/conservative lists that just block ads, not trackers that might break mobile apps and web sites?
split.io, segment.io, app-measurement.com, ... these domains do not really serve ads, they are used for analytics which one can argue is a privacy issue. But some Android apps just refuse to start if you block some of these domains.

Dev is painfully slow
People here must not be using Animation libraries, or A/B testing libraries (ala split.io) etc.. these bring in hundreds of modules alone.... terrible, but I'm thinking many of those posting aren't really building for serious enterprise production type websites.

What words do you like to put on your buttons?
I looked up split.io and their website is worse. I see some technical jargon that I recognize, but the rest is gibberish. Makes me think there is room for providing better content in the space.

New Tool Release - Feature Management- CI/CD
The product website looks good. Congrats for shipping! It would be great if you had some comparison pages against Launchdarkly, split.io and friends.

Making audit logs sexy - best practices for audit logging with examples
Other apps I've noticed that do it well are Stripe, split.io and localize.biz - although in localize's case it's more of a light activity log.

How to whitelist familysearch?
Thank you! I hadn't wildcarded split.io - now it seems to be working again. I'll have to keep a close eye on it to see if anything else changes with it.

Redux Toolkit vs Zustand (which is better optimized for next)
yeah, we are using split.io (large file) and react-spring etc.. not a lot of alternatives.. thanks!

Xfinity Flex stuck on Yikes, that didn't work
Thanks u/CCGabrielaM and u/CCJoshuaT, but I got it working now. I had to whitelist split.io in my DNS sinkhole.

Issue turning on credit score tracking
Sometimes there are issues if you block certain sites like split.io, etc. Might be something similar.

Why use Open Source Feature Flags?
Considering all these points, the team at Flagsmith has developed a feature flag management platform Flagsmith and made it open source. The core functionality is open and you can check out the GitHub repository here. I have utilized and authored several blogs discussing their excellent offerings and strategies.

Implementing Feature Flags with Next.js and App Router
In this guide, we've chosen Flagsmith as our feature flagging solution. Flagsmith is an open-source platform that offers a user-friendly interface for managing feature flags, A/B testing, and segment overrides. You can control feature behaviour without modifying code, making it a powerful tool for managing complex projects with multiple feature variations.

Show HN: We built an open-source LaunchDarkly alternative for B2Bs
Looks good. My friend launched Flagsmith a few years back too -https://github.com/Flagsmith/flagsmith. I have used it on a few of my own projects and it’s been great/easy to integrate

OpenFeature – open standard for feature flags
I believe the idea is that you run feature flag management as a separate service. It's not meant for desktop software but rather as a component of a microservices architecture. This is not uncommon - I know at least one of the FAANGs has something like this internally.
Flagsmith [1] (formerly Bullet Train) is another open source feature-flags-as-a-service software, and they have their own SaaS offering now.
