    How fancy is your network? HEOS uses multicast packets for discovery which was a pain to deal with on my vlans and needed half a dozen rules added to my firewall. Network would be the first place I'd look. If you can find your way around Python you could try the (shameless plug) pytheos example scripts on a computer to see if it detects. That might help you narrow it down a bit.
