pypr throws error
I wanted to setup some scratchpads, and i followed the guide on their github page. I had to install it from the AUR, because pip kept complaining about externally managed packages. I also tried using pipx for that matter, but it doesn't seem to work.

Have you tried Pyprland yet? For me it works very similar to qtile, dwm scratchpads behaviour.

Maybe https://github.com/hyprland-community/pyprland could do this, it has a shift_monitors function. Maybe you can use this directly or as inspiration?

pypr throws error
Very weird error. I installed with pipx before, but now I'm using the aur package. For me its working fine. Did you configured the pyprland.json properly? If you want, you can take a look at my and see if there's something wrong with yours. Here

Scratchpads
I think I also had the same problem. Its something with pip. I installed with pipx install pyprland. If you want to take a look at my dotfiles, its here. I been using hyprland for 2 days, so I haven't done much yet.
