I want to program a simple bitcoin miner, where do i start?
There is a simple python implementation of Bitcoin mining here: https://github.com/jgarzik/pyminer/tree/master but the bitcoin node "getwork" method has been replaced with "getblocktemplate" so you'd have to do a small change if you wanted to run this. It should be good enough to get you started though.
