The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

How can I improve my NEAT algorithm configuration?
ES-HYPER-NEAT does sound really interesting, but I'm facing this problem with the library: https://github.com/ukuleleplayer/pureples/issues/10. I'm passing 20 inputs but it's receiving only 5. I'm trying to go through the library files to see if I can identify the issue but had no lunch so far.

NEAT AI not learning as expected
Could you not create a XOR or other algebraic test ? If you can train it to these simple functions, then the algorithm (your code) works https://github.com/CodeReclaimers/neat-python/blob/master/tests/test_xor_example.py.

Unable to run basic example script for python package. help appreciated!
> git clone https://github.com/CodeReclaimers/neat-python.git > pip install graphviz (because I didn't already have this package) > python .\examples\xor\evolve-feedforward.py

Bug or intentional: neat-python implementation vs the original NEAT paper
I've been working on my own NEAT implementation to better understand the algorithm and I noticed a difference in implementation between what the paper lays out and the neat-python implementation found here.
What are some alternatives?
