Screen rotation on miix720
I'm using X in rootless mode and https://github.com/GuLinux/ScreenRotator to have automatic screen rotation.

Considering KDE Plasma (Ubuntu) on my SP6
I am using Arch Linux with KDE on my Lenovo miix-720 since more than one year. I have recently switched back from using Wayland to X11 (rootless) due to the fact that 1) calibre wasn't working very well with Wayland (and reading ebooks and magazines with calibre is the main use of this tablet pc for me) 2) I got a lot of crashes trying to use xounal++ (I still have to confirm that crashes do not happen with x11) I use onboard as virtual keyboard and https://github.com/GuLinux/ScreenRotator to automatically rotate screens and digitalizer with X (should I use something that is still maintained, instead) As display manager I use gdm, but I would like to try again sddm (when I tried it one year ago it didn't have a keyboard, or didn't permit to run rootless x11 or both) or lightdm (if I can use onboard and automatic screen rotation. Is it possible?) Everything works pretty well. I have created a monitor conf file under xorg to set up correctly the size of the screen so that now high dpi is correctly computed and I have set up the global scale to 150% (I cannot use more otherwise calibre start to misbehave again). If I manage to slightly increase the size of the minimaze, maximize, and close buttons and change the display manager, I would say that I am 100% happy with the kde on my surface like 2 in 1 touch device.

Screen Rotation Issue on Tablet
This is a bit of a weird one. I just installed Kubuntu 20.04 LTS on an old Linx tablet, and immediately ran into problems with the touchscreen: It wouldn't rotate automatically and the calibration was so badly off that it was unusable. The good news is, Screen Rotator fixed both those issues. The bad news is, it's got a bit confused: When I turn the tablet horizontally it flips the screen vertically and vice versa. Is there a workaround or an alternate app I could use?
