I'm slurdge, maintainer of goeland. goeland is a simple but powerful RSS to email that aims to replace RSS2Email. It is a self-contained golang program that will use one configuration. It also has a docker image. It is best suited to make digest of your RSS sources and push them to your mailbox.

What do you self-host that no one's heard of?
I use a self-made program, goeland, which allows you to have emails digest from RSS feeds. I use it to get news digest, daily wikipedia facts, cute pictures send daily or weekly to my Inbox. It's like rss2email but in my opinion easier to use and the emails are nicer to the eye.
