Who runs Fedora on ARM? What hardware are you using?
How do you run it? Official install or https://github.com/bengtfredh/pinebook-pro-fedora-installer ? I’m thinking on moving to Fedora from manjaro but there’s no information how to do that 😕

Is my PineBook Pro a lemon or is Manajaro ARM inherently unstable?
Manjaro was unstable for me on the PineBook Pro, so I installed Fedora 34 Workstation from this repo, and after some "dnf update" and writing the latest uboot to the eMMC, everything is working fine.

Won't boot after EMMC flash
Hi everyone! Not so long time ago bought new PinebookPro and decided to switch to Fedora distro. First, I flashed SD card with that tool (https://github.com/bengtfredh/pinebook-pro-fedora-installer). Everything was fine, I booted from SD card and did the same for EMMC storage. After rebooting, I got dead device. I see only red LED after connecting AC adapter. What I tried: - Pull EMMC module from board and boot from SD Card (not booting, same behavior) - Hit reset - Disconnect battery for >20sec

Fedora on Pinebook Pro?
I’m not sure either. But according to https://github.com/bengtfredh/pinebook-pro-fedora-installer it’s not so easy - there’s bunch of packages not available in official repo. What’s strange, the issues page shows that the main problem with releases > 32 is GDM arm issue...

Need a way to use BTRFS snapshots for system backups? Use BTRFS assistant, not Timeshift!
The previous developer of timeshift—Tony George (GitHub) — has been the developer since 2017 (based on GitHub version history), and has recently handed off development to the Linux Mint team.

System backup software question.
What system backup software can you recommend? In the past on Ubuntu I tested Timeshift, and it looks really cool. But the "main problem" is thing, that some options not work in Fedora: https://github.com/teejee2008/timeshift, specifically BTRFS. What does it mean, this is a problem?

How to include /root and /home/user in timeshift snapshots
What I tried is to add "exclude" : [ "+ /home/user1/**", "+ /root/**", "+ /home/user2/**", ], to /etc/timeshift.json as per this post but the files within those folders still aren't included in the backup.
