You can however generate pia wg config files using a python script (different from what you have linked) - it works pretty well.... Run script, enter credentials, select location and it will export the server.conf file

I wouldn't really recommend Private Internet Access ever since they were bought by Kape Technologies, but if you're determined, there's an open-source Python script to generate Wireguard configs.

Shenanigans

Search for split tunnel openvpn or wireguard and you can figure out how to setup the configuration file. PIA doesn't share the wireguard configuration files, but you can get those using https://github.com/triffid/pia-wg Otherwise just use the openvpn config files. And you can install OpenVPN for Android on your tv. Copy the configuration files over and connect.
