phpservermon VS gatus

I use php servermon, it's pretty simple compared to things like zabbix but you need php, mysql and a webserver

I'm using https://www.phpservermonitor.org/ on a remote shared host to ping my home server. Extremely easy to setup and just works. (even if it's not too pretty)

Throw up a lamp stack on the PI and use PHPServerMonitor here's the link for their github https://github.com/phpservermon/phpservermon this is what I use, not only does it monitor your websitew it can also monitor ports for services too really handy becuase it can also send you email and sms notifications when servers go down so you don't have to be watching the screen to know if a host has gone down.

I moved to (Gatus)[https://github.com/TwiN/gatus] for this reason. All defined in a yaml config file.

Gatus IMO is better suited. Here's the Github repo.
