    So I know you can't give specifics, but where you go from here I guess would depend on just how deep into the security of client apps you are willing to protect. I could be wrong but I don't think there is an automatic solution to blindly filtering the application layer for everyone's different traffic. They aren't even giving specs on their app's protocol. Another approach might be to offer some sort of portal that allows your clients to send firewall rules upstream to you, like an api, to their portion of your firewall.
