The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Does python 3 have applications in servo control & robotics?
All that matters in determining a programming language is loop latency margin. So, suppose you implement some primitives in python. That looks something like this:

Visualizing quaternions (useful for rotations, relativistic mechanics, other...)
Are you paying overly close attention to my online activity? Should I be concerned? https://github.com/brandondube/pctl/commit/6a043c2d413fce572a72d30b47ea84565c955e6a

A strongly typed dialect of Python is coming. I would like to humbly suggest a name for it.
I write a lot of library code and don't get tickets about type problems.

I'm making a modular synthesizer library with Go channels
I am in the process of stabilizing v2. It is more slim, easier to use and has less code. It would be great, if you could try it out and give some feedback. Still not complete but should be working the same or better than v1 for your use case. The current version is v2.0.0-alpha.13. You can find the docs at https://pkg.go.dev/gitlab.com/gomidi/midi/v2 and some examples here: https://gitlab.com/gomidi/midi/-/tree/master/v2/example
What are some alternatives?
When comparing pctl and midi you can also consider the following projects:
pid-go - PID controllers for Go.
go-modular - Software modular synthesizer with Midi support
prysm - physical optics: integrated modeling, phase retrieval, segmented systems, polynomials and fitting, sequential raytracing...
