The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Note: The last bug that got me for part 2, for some reason, was the special case of when the node to be mixed was already in the beginning, and n<0. The same method seems to produce the correct result for part 1, but when comparing the step-by-step output to 2.OUT (split in 2.OUT.1 and 2.OUT.2 because GitHub) I get a big diff. But since the final result is still correct, I will backlog it, for now.

How do you people solve AoC tasks? fast and sloppy or slow and steady. Why or why not?
A little of both (Shameless plug: https://github.com/osalbahr/adventOfCode)

[META] Impossible to search for C solutions
This crowdsourced might be useful to find solutions in the language you want more easily! I do mine mostly in C++ and I know a fair amount of C so feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

[2021 Day 6 (Part 2)] [Rust] Pretty darn elegant
nice one! you can make it even faster by creating a compile time multiplication table as i have done here, so all that happens at runtime is the bucketing of similarly aged fish, 7 multiplications + a sum

[2022 Day 14 (Part 2)] Oสฐ(Nยฒ)แตแตแตแต!... OH YEAH!
you've still got some overhead in your code, my rust solution creates a dense lookup array at runtime & takes ~200us on my 10850k. are you including file IO and printing to stdout?
