Have you seen Orion? Similar kind of thing and I know from experience that works just fine in Docker. Worth consdiering if you tire of OwnTracks

Alternative to Google Maps Location History feature
I've been using Traccar for the last 2 years and does a great job. Not sure if you can import but it certainly can follow your location and give you many other statistics.
