How to change org-pretty-entities-alist?
Emphasis syntax is currently fixed. There is https://github.com/alhassy/org-special-block-extras/ though. And there were discussions about custom markup elements.

Org-mode expands org-special-block-extras incorrectly
I've been using org-special-block-extras to insert special blocks in org-mode which I then export to PDF through LaTeX, things such as margin notes or colored blocks.

[OSBEv4] HTML Themes as Org Links!
This, among other things, is part of the v4 release of org-special-block-extras ---sadly I haven't yet gotten around to making a proper changelog or updating existing docs.

org-mode/ox-hugo custom begin_noteblock
I opened an issue on github btw.

Org-marginalia to write margin notes for your text files
This is very similar to org-special-block-extras' doc feature, where one "documents" something in an associated file and the documentation is shown in a tooltip in Emacs and in a tooltip in HTML export and in a glossary in LaTeX export. But yours seems to be much more sophisticated by linking implicitly, whereas this requires an explicit link. Way to go ;-)

Declaring New Special Blocks With Arguments
Thanks for the links tdehaeze :-) When I replied to you earlier, it didn't occur to me to just actually use the `defblock` mechanism to do what you wanted. A ~3line implementation that works well for me can be found here: https://github.com/alhassy/org-special-block-extras#Installation-Instructions. All the best!

org-modern: TODO faces not applying in custom agenda view
I've been configuring a custom agenda view for use with org-super-agenda similar to the very last example in the examples page. I also use org-modern.

Org-Agenda Keep Projects and Subtasks grouped, even with different priority.
Maybe org-super-agenda can help you with that.

Tools for productivity
But for me the most important aspect is org-agenda and in particular with packages like org-super-agenda, org-ql, and orgzly an excellent Android app. You configure the parameters and it shows you tasks/notes grouped/sorted by whatever attributes you want--priority, tags, deadline, keywords, etc. It takes a matter of 3 seconds to search for tasks with priority A to do within 2 weeks, for example (or you can of course pre-configure that search parameter bound to a hotkey--I have agenda views for different aspects of my life like school, work, business, shopping, etc.). The interface provides you the ability to quickly mark tasks and modify their properties in bulk like priorities and deadlines, etc.

Upping my Agenda game - tips appreciated
Highly recommend looking into org-super-agenda to clean things up, I use it with custom views to only show what I want and in the order I need, helps organize the chaos.
