How to change org-pretty-entities-alist?
Emphasis syntax is currently fixed. There is https://github.com/alhassy/org-special-block-extras/ though. And there were discussions about custom markup elements.

Org-mode expands org-special-block-extras incorrectly
I've been using org-special-block-extras to insert special blocks in org-mode which I then export to PDF through LaTeX, things such as margin notes or colored blocks.

[OSBEv4] HTML Themes as Org Links!
This, among other things, is part of the v4 release of org-special-block-extras ---sadly I haven't yet gotten around to making a proper changelog or updating existing docs.
-
org-mode/ox-hugo custom begin_noteblock
I opened an issue on github btw.
- Emacs org-mode version 9.5, a major release, is out
-
Org-marginalia to write margin notes for your text files
This is very similar to org-special-block-extras' doc feature, where one "documents" something in an associated file and the documentation is shown in a tooltip in Emacs and in a tooltip in HTML export and in a glossary in LaTeX export. But yours seems to be much more sophisticated by linking implicitly, whereas this requires an explicit link. Way to go ;-)

org-special-block-extras v2 released ;; Pretty HTML & LaTeX
I'm excited to announced that version 2 of org-special-block-extras is out :-)

Declaring New Special Blocks With Arguments
Thanks for the links tdehaeze :-) When I replied to you earlier, it didn't occur to me to just actually use the `defblock` mechanism to do what you wanted. A ~3line implementation that works well for me can be found here: https://github.com/alhassy/org-special-block-extras#Installation-Instructions. All the best!

Packages that you would like to be in emacs core ?
Also Org-ql, maybe with some sort merging with org-agenda (Because writing configurations of org-agenda is a PITA, too.)
-
how to search for all .org files in a directory structure that have a specific tag in a directory structure?
I don't know about pure org, but you could try org-ql. Check org-ql-find-in-org-directory.

Programmatically tell whether a heading exists somewhere in your agenda file?
See https://github.com/alphapapa/org-ql
-
Agenda blocks filtered by category
I don't know about how it's done in vanilla org, even though I'm fairly sure it's possible. Still, this can be very easily done with the org-ql package: https://github.com/alphapapa/org-ql
-
Search all agenda files
alphapapa/org-ql.
-
Org-Agenda Keep Projects and Subtasks grouped, even with different priority.
See also this WIP branch of org-ql that provides org-ql-report views, which allow multiple queries to be displayed and grouped in a single buffer: https://github.com/alphapapa/org-ql/issues/331
-
org-SUPER-sparse-tree?
I don't use it, but you may want to take a look at org-ql, specifically the org-ql-search command, which does something similar. It may or may not be what you want.
-
Org-Capture Journal - is there a better way to search?
org-ql-find/org-ql-search (from org-ql) work nicely even with datetrees.
