org-fc VS writeroom-mode

I have tried org-drill but decided against it and other Emacs options including chenyanming/anki.el, eyeinsky/org-anki, l3kn/org-fc and abo-abo/pamparam in the end. They all work as advertised and all use or a slight variation of the same SM2 algorithm used by Anki. They all use this one as it is publicly available.

org-fc has been great to work with. It's been easy to confirm and use. The dashboard is also nice. Do have a look.

org-fc can handle what you would like to do. You can find install instructions here, I don't know exactly how doom works but I imagine you can get what you need there.

There's also an analogous mode[0] for emacs that works great on my ARM Mac!

Doom emacs already comes with writeroom-mode for distraction-free writing with doom-specific improvements in the :ui zen module.

I really enjoy using writeroom-mode for distraction-free writing in Emacs. I have it bound to a key in org-mode, even.
