How to Disable Updates for YouTube app
This is only applicable to users who have the root version and are tired of seeing YouTube in the Play Store update list. First install this Magisk Module: https://github.com/yuk7/playstore-excl-upd/releases then create a peulist.txt file with this line in it: com.google.android.youtube

Updating apps doesn't work.
This module https://github.com/yuk7/playstore-excl-upd can be used to block all YouTube updates. Then uninstall YouTube and install the APK for the current supported version listed on the Revanced Patches GitHub. Then patch that APK and use the Magisk module to block updates for it. Easy peasy.
