official_joke_api VS SpaceX-API

Last week, I worked on a school homework “Random Joke Website”, which is the website that users can simply generate new random joke by clicking button. To get random jokes, I used This API (For this assignment, we(students) needed to use random API like this) and wrote a simple Javascript codes.

1. Jokes API

We will build a Twitter bot. The Twitter bot is going to fetch a random joke using the official joke API. We will also add a feature that lets a user specify the list of hashtags to include in each tweet.

SpaceX REST API

This is what i meant by that explanation. In this project we will make a request to a SpaceX API and the results we want from the huge chunk of data we will be receiving from the API are: id of type string, flight_number of type int, name and details of type string and success of type boolean.

I like this unofficial SpaceX API. I am using it in examples for API-related tutorials and to train less experience technical personnel. Works like a charm so far :)

To display the next scheduled launch date, we have to fetch our data from the API. Therefore we will use the following API Documentation spacexdata.com API.
