Easiest way to Hackintosh a ThinkPad T470?
He made a nice tool that can also be used to update: https://github.com/rusty-bits/octool
-
I'm making a kext updater, because half of the time spent maintaining a hackintosh is keeping it up to date.
just use my octool if you want something that just works without needing a "fancy" GUI on it like OCAT
- What OS is support on .70?
- For those that use octool, or perhaps for those that have wanted to try it out, I have just added a simple picture guide that shows some basic usage. I think a few more pictures need to be added, but it's a start.

When do you choose to update your OpenCore bootloaders?
I wrote this https://github.com/rusty-bits/octool that takes care of everything, including adding or removing any changes in the config.plist and downloading the latest versions of the kexts and resources from Acidanthera and Dortania
-
Config possible to hackintoshed ?
I haven't updated that tool in months, you should switch to the new one that pulls all its resources from the sources listed in the guide. https://github.com/rusty-bits/octool

That's it, I have had it! Now I need some assistance...
next, make sure your copy of ProperTree is up to date, or you can use the latest version of my tool which has the benefit of downloading the proper resources for you, but it is not covered in the guide so I would recommend sticking with ProperTree since other people are more familiar with that

octool, a tool to help edit an OpenCore config.plist and make an EFI folder from the command line - now at version 0.3.3
I am rewriting octool in Rust to help me learn the Rust language. The latest release contains binaries for macOS, Windows, and Linux and should run fine and make an EFI folder without issue. Let me know if there are problems.

OC-tool updated for new released OpenCore 0.7.3 - may be last update for this version of the tool as I concentrate on writing the new version - octool
no real release notes on it yet, it's a total rewrite of the tool you can try it out here

Easiest way to Hackintosh a ThinkPad T470?
Mate this thinkpad is so efficient that it works wonderfully than any other think pads, just visit my repo at “ https://github.com/nitingaury/Thinkpad-T470-Opencore “ just disable the touch screen kexts if you don’t have a touch screen and I suggest you to use the Monterey efi which is very stable as of now.. every damn thing works except the finder print reader and usb C data transfer
