Octoprint (banana pi m2 zero) won't connect to prusa i3 MK3s
Hi, I'm trying to connect an octoprint with a prusa mk3s. Unfortunately without success. After selecting the appropriate baudrate and port, the octoprint enters the "connecting" status and then after a few seconds it goes offline again. The banana pi is connected to the prusa directly to the motherboard, exactly the same as you would connect a raspberry pi zero. Connections seem to be fine so it seems to me that maybe this problem may be on the software side (I'm using octocittico)

Does anyone has experience with octoprint on Banana Pi M2 Zero?
Has anyone tried to install octoprint on bpm2z under some system or some separate working distro? Unfortunately, manual installation under raspbian does not bring any effects, it is caused by numerous errors resulting (from what I think, from the lack of official support). I also tried"Octoprint for other fruits", but I failed on that too, unfortunately I don't know much about linux and I have problems with building an iso file from shared files from the repository

i was just looking at Rasbery pi alterities for octo print.
Used Octocitrico to image and had a few issues getting the webcam to work, but the guy who made the image is very good at responding to issues and trying to help out so I got the webcam server to work a couple days later.

Trouble rebooting Orange Pi Zero 2 loaded with Octoprint
I got an orange pi zero 2 since I couldn't get a raspberry pi to control my 3d printer using octoprint. I followed this guide (https://github.com/ludiazv/octocitrico) and for the most part it has worked as expected. The only issue I'm having is that when I reboot the system for whatever reason, it would not reboot after it shuts down. I unplug the usbc, plug it back in, the fan turns on and the ethernet lights blink, but I get no status led light no matter how long I leave it plugged in. I can eventually get it to turn on if I keep unplugging and plugging in the usbc and ethernet cable, but I really want to just set it and forget it and not worry about it. I also got an orange pi 3 lts, and that one works flawlessly. Is this a known issue?

You can install Ubuntu on any spare laptop/desktop you might have and install Klipper using kiauh. https://github.com/dw-0/kiauh

Z offset not even close
There are several options for other firmware, the popular ones being Marlin, MRISCOC (“professional firmware” as you see it called around here), and Klipper. Klipper is the gold standard and I highly recommend it. People talk about how difficult it is to install, but it literally takes 15 minutes with KIAUH (an installation script that makes it dummy proof). There are tons of written and video goods online.

Need help solving Moonraker warnings
Give it a try. It makes things so much easier. Follow the instructions on https://github.com/th33xitus/kiauh from the section "Download and use KIAUH". Then start it by: "cd ~/KIAUH & ./KIAUH.sh" There choose install and you should see an option to install crowsnest. If that doesn't work, try either deleting the existing crowsnest directory, or uninstalling it using KIAUH. Whatever works. Then try to install crowsnest again. Let me know if that solves your problem 😊

Klipper + octoprint = ???
Use Kiauh to install Klipper, with it you will be able to install Octoprint as well. It's the easiest way to have all set up correctly.

Webcam and mainsail/kipper or raspberry
If you don't remember what you did just start over rather than dissecting what your raspi currently runs. Thanks to kiauh installing the whole deal takes like an hour, where 45 min is waiting for the thing to think. One cam should work out of the box, for two or more you need crowsnest iirc, which you can also install through kiauh.
