But I will reiterate what I say on many posts like these, which is that it would be even cooler if we could stop having a million projects reinvent this wheel - and I say this as someone who wrote a large Rust library that is backed by ObjC. madsmtm has an ongoing effort to put together a best in class ObjC Rust wrapper, which would be great to see even more support for.

Help with implementing ObjC functions in Tauri
It looks like there isn't an easy way to do this in Tauri the same way there is in electron (with something like getDefaultProtocolClient()) so I've been trying to basically implement the code from the homebrew package defaultBrowser.

My first extension to Fig
First shot was for defaultbrowser a marvellous command line tool, which let's you change your choice of default browser from the command line. I had previously done a completion for Bash in Bash, which was quite simple, but did the job and worked fine.
