Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Raspberry Pi Hunts Shiny Pokémon While You Sleep
Oh wow, awesome use-case. This actually uses my Switch Bluetooth Controller emulation project [0] under the hood for automating the button presses. If you have a RPi on-hand, you can grab a decent USB capture card for around $15 on Ebay or Amazon, last I checked, for a cheap(er) entry point into automation projects like this.

(Questions) How to install nxbt on linux
Hi everyone: I have a problem, I want to install a software called nxbt (https://github.com/Brikwerk/nxbt) to simulate a switch controller but when I enter the command to install it in the linux terminal it says “command not found”

Sub to ask question about ubuntu/linux and GitHub
There’s a program I’m running, nxbt and there’s a pull request that would be really useful for me but I don’t know how to download it. What subreddit can help me with the syntax for terminal to implement this person’s fix?

Solved: How to capture Nintendo Switch inputs without hacking
nxbt also works without custom firmware but I think there's issues with latency and some inputs not going through.

Nintendo Switch PC Setup
The joycon emulation is done using NXBT which is super awesome! It already allows you to use your keyboard with your switch, though I edited it some to use the mouse as well as allow for rebinding keys in the webapp. It's a bit janky right now 'cause I didn't think other people would be using it, but my fork can be found at NXBT-MK. I know it's messy, go easy on me! You can also change the acceleration needed to activate the right joystick by changing the deadZone variable if you're interested in tweaking it a bit! If you follow the instructions in the readme you should be able to set it up on Linux relatively fast, though some of the dependencies are out of date for the original library and will have to be downgraded manually. I don't remember which ones in particular ;-; but I can go back and make a list of dependencies and versions later if people are having difficulty :)

Splitting Bluetooth inputs over multiple consoles
If I understand your requirements properly I think you would want to make some kind of relay device, the overall goal being to receive a single controllers bluetooth inputs as a host, and then to broadcast them to each BlueRetro receiver. The easiest route especially with tinkering in mind would probably be to use a Raspberry Pi Model B, making use of one of the open source projects that can emulate Switch joypads, such as: https://github.com/mart1nro/joycontrol

Drivers besides defaults not loading
Last night, I was playing around with stuff like joycontrol, joytransfer and splatplost (repos here: https://github.com/Victrid/splatplost https://github.com/mart1nro/joycontrol https://github.com/lowlevel-1989/joytransfer), and I guess maybe I got frustrated with the virtual environments (as things were not working as intended) and decided to remove them and run things without it, as well as deleting a pycache in the joycontrol folder that was root owned. Bad idea!!

I Honestly Don’t Get How People Have This Much Talent.
No. You can even connect and emulate controllers via bluetooth with joycontrol https://github.com/mart1nro/joycontrol. As for the switch fightstick thing, you need the hardware but it is just like using any other USB to the switch
What are some alternatives?
nxbt-mk - Control your Nintendo Switch through a website (with key rebinds and mouse control), terminal, or macro.
BetterJoyForCemu - Allows the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, Joycons and SNES controller to be used with CEMU, Citra, Dolphin, Yuzu and as generic XInput [Moved to: https://github.com/Davidobot/BetterJoy]
RaspberryPi-Joystick - A virtual HID USB joystick created using Raspberry Pi
switch-remoteplay - NOT AN OFFICIAL NINTENDO PRODUCT - Control your Switch remotely (no hacking required)
rogdrv - ASUS ROG userspace mouse driver for Linux
scrcpy - Display and control your Android device
python-ioctl - Pure python typed Linux ioctl & ioctl interfaces implementation
Switch-Fightstick - Proof-of-Concept LUFA Project for the Nintendo Switch. Pretends to be a HORI Pokken Pad which only prints Splatoon 2 Posts
PokemonBDSPHunt
splatplost - A software-based SplatPost plotter.
obs-studio - OBS Studio - Free and open source software for live streaming and screen recording
HOJA-LIB-ESP32 - An API project to emulate various retro and modern controllers on ESP32.
