G-Sync... usb-c dock... asus g-sync monitor...
If you carefully look at the https://github.com/Witko/nvidia-xrun/blob/master/nvidia-xrun you can see that the Nvidia GPU can be use in another X server without the need of communicating with the iGPU and on conjunction with Wayland which can provide this possibility.

nvidia-xrun is setup exactly like the docs, but the Xorg log shows the intel modesetting being chosen as the graphics driver
Double check the addresses in /etc/default/nvidia-xrun. You'll need to install lshw to get the correct hardware addresses. You've found the address for the nvidia GPU already but you'll also need to find/set the correct address for the PCI express controller. More detail in the last paragraph of setting the right bus id on the Github page. Basically the PCI controller address you're looking for will be just right before the Nvidia GPU entry in lshw.

svt-av1 1.5.0-1 broke ffmpeg and ab-av1 -crf setting
Yep looks like ffmpeg package needs to be rebuilt against svt-av1 1.5.0. In the meantime you can checkout, build & re-install the ffmpeg pkgbuild locally to fix.

Is it possible to install gnome 3 on the latest version of arch Linux?
Download the PKGBUILDs from the archlinux svntogit trunk and use makepkg as you'd normally would I guess. Here's the PKGBUILD for gnome-shell v. 3.38.4 for example: https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-packages/blob/e93ee10b663dedcebfd8c33fd53b82f642a0a0a8/trunk/PKGBUILD

Python 3.11 is in the repos now \o/
The old python PKGBUILD from the Arch repos is here, in case anyone wants to build it themselves under the python310 name (with additional minor modifications): https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-packages/blob/855d73921bb8e86820a7731870de335c3c2fa236/trunk/PKGBUILD
- It appears GNOME is in the process of being updated
- GNOME 44 spotted in the repos
